Please note, that this discount cannot be used with another Epicentre discount and this discount can only be used with a full wellness package, a wellness package with substitutions or with additional tests that have been recommended on Epicentre’s website alongside that specific wellness package.

Our Wellness packages help you to screen for potential red flags that could compromise your overall health. They are like the broad brush stokes that help you zone in on problem areas.

These tests are from our Walk-In Lab, which means they are ‘pathology’ lab tests. Pathology lab tests take a little of your blood and analyse them. If you’re sick or looking to take control of your health, many of the decisions about your care will be based on the results of your blood and pathology tests.

Unlike other pathology labs in South Africa, we do not require a referral. This means that you are able to just ‘walk-in’ to our boutique lab and get tested, and afterwards you will own your results.

But please note that these packages are just a guide, you can take any tests off the packages or add anything you would like on. Just speak to our team when you come in for your test, and we will be happy to build a custom package just for you!

We, cannot help you understand what your results mean in detail. But we are able to make a referral to excellent doctors in our communities that can help you utilize the information our results give you to take full control of your health.

Epicentre’s Walk-In Lab is a boutique laboratory experience, which means that at every step of your testing journey, you will be dealing with a real person.

To book a test/package, just WhatsApp us or book online on our shop. You are also welcome to just come in without an appointment when it is convenient for you.

To get a test, you will need to then come down to our Walk-In Lab. And speak to our team to discuss what package will be best for you.

You will then be asked to fill out a lab form.

If you need to have your blood taken, our nurse will very genitally take a small about of blood. Whilst the test will be over quickly, we will do our best to make you feel calm and safe during the entire process.

You will then be sent your results within 48 to 72hrs.

You can walk in to our lab without an appointment whenever we are open. But you are also welcome to make an appointment to shorten your chances of waiting.

Please check on our page if you need to prepare in a special way for any of our packages. We will also let you know if you place a booking for a package that requires preparation.

If you are coming in for a test that requires fasting, please do not eat and only drink water for 8hrs before your test.

We recommend coming in the morning if you are coming in for a package that requires fasting.

If you are getting a package that does not require special prep, you can come any time between 8:30am to 4pm.
