Getting your Epicentre COVID-19 tests results is easy and private! You can trust Epicentre to not only send your results promptly but also to protect your right to confidentiality.
Your results will be sent to you based on the option that you ticked in your online (RedCap) form. If you choose the option of an ‘SMS’, your results will be sent to you over SMS. However, if you chose the option of getting them via ’email’, your results will be shared with you via email. Please remember to check your junk mail regularly as results often end up there.
Please note that to the best of our capacity we send out the results as we get them. Many of our results arrive early in the evening. Therefore, if you test in the morning (as we send test samples to the laboratories at 2pm), you will recieve your results the next day usually at around 4pm to 6pm.

Your Results are a Secret
Your confidentiality is very important to us! We understand that getting a positive COVID result is a vulnerable moment and we respect that. We want to put a lot of time and effort into making sure your results are only seen by the people who you feel safe sharing that information with.
That’s why at Epicentre all our staff sign a confidentiality agreement upon joining the company; so you can feel safe trusting your test with us. We share access to your results with our results team, this is to ensure in case of emergency, that you will always have access to your final result upon request. But please know that our results team will not know your personal information in connection to your final test result; unless explicitly given permission by you, or your healthcare practitioner.
Negative Result
If you have requested a personal test (you are paying for it personally), your results will again be given to our results team members. We will then send your results to you via SMS or email with the utmost confidentiality. Please remember that unless given your permission we will link your personal information to your final test result.
If you have requested a workplace test (your company is paying for your test) access to your final test result will again be given to our results team members. Who will not link your personal information to your final test result. We will then share your result with your company’s COVID Coordinator. They will then notify you of your negative final test result.
Positive Result
If you have requested a personal test (you are paying for it personally), the laboratory processing your results will pick up your positive results. Then under NICD guidelines they will notify the NICD of the positive COVID test result. They will then send your positive test result to your pre-selected doctor. Your doctor will then contact you and walk you through your positive COVID diagnosis.
If you have requested a workplace test (your company is paying for your test), the laboratory processing your results will pick up your positive results. Then under NICD guidelines they will notify the NICD of the positive COVID test result. They will then send your positive test result to your workplace COVID coordinator and your pre-selected doctor. Your doctor will then contact you and walk you through your positive COVID diagnosis.
