What is Optimal Dx?

Beyond "normal".
Toward optimal.

Optimal DX, founded by Dr. Dicken Weatherby, a world-leading expert in Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, goes beyond traditional testing. While conventional reports simply flag "normal vs abnormal", ODx uses optimal ranges to show where your health sits on the full spectrum.

Using Epicentre's tests and ODx reports, you can identify imbalances early, receive personalised insights, and take proactive steps toward genuine wellbeing, not just the absence of disease.

Reading your report

How to read your ODx report

Every marker is plotted on a colour band, so you see at a glance where you sit, not just whether you have been flagged. Start with the yellow and red markers.

Green: optimal

The marker sits where it does in healthy people. No action needed, keep doing what you are doing.

Yellow: needs attention

Drifting from optimal. Often improved with diet, lifestyle or targeted support before it becomes a problem.

Red: outside range

Outside the optimal range and worth discussing with a doctor or health coach.

A result can read normal on a standard lab report but still show yellow here, because optimal ranges are narrower than disease ranges. That early signal is the whole point of a functional report.
