How It Works

WhatsApp or call us at least 24 hours before your preferred Tuesday. Tell us your location and which tests you need.

Get a Quote

We will calculate your callout fee based on the distance from our nearest branch, and confirm availability for your requested date.

Nurse Visits You

A qualified phlebotomist arrives at your home or office on Tuesday to draw your blood samples. The process takes 15 – 20 minutes.

Get Your Results

Your samples go straight to the lab. Results are delivered within 2 – 5 working days via WhatsApp, including your colour-coded ODx report.

Available Tuesdays

Nurse callouts are available every Tuesday. Request your callout at least 24 hours in advance so we can schedule you in.

Distance-Based Fee

The callout fee is calculated based on the distance from our nearest branch to your location. We will give you the exact amount when you enquire.

Blood Tests Only

Callouts are designed for tests that require a trained phlebotomist to draw blood – hormones, wellness panels, iron studies, thyroid function, and more.

Subject to Availability

We reserve the right to accept or decline callout requests based on location, scheduling, and nurse availability. We will always let you know promptly.

No Doctor's Referral

Just like our walk-in labs, no doctor's referral is needed for a nurse callout. Choose any package from our full range.

Fasting Requirements

Some packages require 8 – 10 hours of fasting (water only). We will confirm this when we book your callout. If unsure, arrive fasting.

Need an STI, Gut, or UTI Test?

Our sexual health, gut health, and UTI PCR tests use self-collection kits – swabs and urine, no blood draw required. Order a home test kit online and test privately at home. No nurse needed, no callout fee.

Common Questions

At least 24 hours before the Tuesday you want the callout. This gives us time to confirm nurse availability and calculate your callout fee. The earlier you get in touch, the more likely we can accommodate your preferred time slot.
The callout fee depends on the distance between your location and our nearest branch. WhatsApp us your address and we will give you an exact quote. The callout fee is in addition to the cost of the test package you choose.
Our sexual health PCR tests use self-collection kits (swabs and urine), so they do not require a nurse. You can order a home test kit online and test privately at home – no callout needed, no extra fee. Nurse callouts are for blood tests only.

Callouts are available from all three branches – Hillcrest (Durban), Observatory (Cape Town), and Parktown North (Johannesburg). The further you are from a branch, the higher the callout fee. We will always be upfront about the cost before confirming.
