Seven markers that screen for inflammation in the body and for some of the common autoimmune patterns behind joint pain. All from one blood draw.
General inflammation
ESR, CRP. Two markers that rise when there is inflammation in the body.
Blood count
Full Blood Count (FBC). A full blood count, which can shift with inflammation and many other conditions.
Gout marker
Uric Acid. High uric acid is linked to gout, a common cause of sudden joint pain.
Rheumatoid markers
Rheumatoid Factor, Anti-CCP. Two antibody tests doctors use when rheumatoid arthritis is being considered.
Autoimmune marker
ANA. A screening antibody test that can point towards autoimmune conditions such as lupus.
Your results come with an ODx report
With this panel you also receive an ODx Functional Health Report, which reads your results against optimal ranges, not just disease ranges, so you can spot imbalances early and track them over time.

What people say
Friendly and competent staff. Both at reception and the nurse. A much simpler process than going through doctors. Thank you ladies.
The staff at reception as well as the nurses are friendly and professional. I've also always received results timeously. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Highly highly highly recommend. The experience was painless and the practice was inviting and well kept. The report was extremely detailed and informative and I would have this as top of my list for preventive care.
Amazing experience, highly professional staff. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
I cannot recommend Juliette and her team enough, friendly and kind from the get go. Bloods were drawn with minimal discomfort and the labs came back quickly.
Excellent experience at Epicentre. The staff were professional, kind, and took time to explain everything clearly. The facility was clean, booking was easy, and I did not feel rushed.
What this does not do
This is a screen that points your doctor in the right direction. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a diagnosis on its own.
- Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions are diagnosed by a doctor, often a rheumatologist, who examines you and reads these results in context.
- A positive ANA or rheumatoid factor can occur in healthy people, and a negative result does not always rule a condition out.
- These results are read alongside your symptoms, examination and history.
- Joint pain that is severe, or comes with fever or a hot, swollen joint, should be seen by a doctor promptly.
