What's tested

What does the panel measure?

Six grouped panels covering more than twenty individual markers, from blood sugar and kidney function to liver enzymes, blood count, inflammation and calcium. All from one morning, fasted blood draw.

A broad organ-function check: the CMP groups blood sugar, kidney and electrolyte markers, liver enzymes, a full blood count, inflammation and calcium, so you and your doctor can see how the main systems are doing at a glance.

Blood sugar

Fasting Glucose. Your fasting blood sugar, a core metabolic marker.

Kidneys and electrolytes

U&E and Creatinine panel. Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Bicarbonate, Urea and Creatinine: how your kidneys and salt balance are doing.

Liver

Liver Function panel. Albumin, ALP, ALT, AST, Bilirubin, GGT, LDH and Total Protein: a full set of liver enzymes and proteins.

Blood count

Full Blood Count (FBC). Your red cells, white cells and platelets, for overall health.

Inflammation

C-Reactive Protein (CRP). A general marker of inflammation in the body.

Calcium

Calcium. An important mineral for bones, nerves and muscle function.

What you get back

Your results come with an ODx report

With this panel you also receive an ODx Functional Health Report, which reads your results against optimal ranges, not just disease ranges, so you can spot imbalances early and track them over time.

How it works

Three steps, no GP needed

1

Book a morning slot

Reserve a morning time at your branch, or walk in. No doctor's referral. Come fasted.

2

Quick blood draw

A nurse takes a small sample, just a few minutes. A morning, fasted sample gives the clearest read.

3

Results in 2 to 5 days

A colour-coded report by marker, with a free certificate you can share with your doctor.

The staff at reception as well as the nurses are friendly and professional. I've also always received results timeously. I would give 10 stars if I could.

What this does not do

This is a broad screen of the main systems. It is a starting point for a conversation with your doctor, not a diagnosis on its own.

  • It does not diagnose any condition on its own; unusual results are followed up with your doctor.
  • It does not cover every test; your doctor may add others based on your history.
  • A single set of results is a snapshot, most useful when read in context and tracked over time.
  • Results are meant to inform a discussion with a registered practitioner.
