A colour-coded report by food and category, a clear starting point for an elimination trial.
Who is OptiWay for?
Most useful if you have ongoing, low-grade symptoms that you suspect are linked to food, and you want a structured place to start.
Bloating and digestive discomfort
Persistent bloating, wind or an unsettled gut that you cannot pin to one obvious cause.
Fatigue and brain fog
Low energy or foggy thinking that seems to track with what you eat.
Skin flare-ups
Recurring breakouts, eczema or itchy skin that come and go.
Aches and stiffness
Joint aches or general inflammation you would like to investigate.
Planning an elimination diet
A data-led shortlist of foods to trial removing, rather than guessing.
You want a starting point
A structured first step to discuss with a practitioner, not a final answer.
What people say
Friendly and competent staff. Both at reception and the nurse. A much simpler process than going through doctors. Thank you ladies.
The staff at reception as well as the nurses are friendly and professional. I've also always received results timeously. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Highly highly highly recommend. The experience was painless and the practice was inviting and well kept. The report was extremely detailed and informative and I would have this as top of my list for preventive care.
Amazing experience, highly professional staff. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
I cannot recommend Juliette and her team enough, friendly and kind from the get go. Bloods were drawn with minimal discomfort and the labs came back quickly.
Excellent experience at Epicentre. The staff were professional, kind, and took time to explain everything clearly. The facility was clean, booking was easy, and I did not feel rushed.
What OptiWay does not do
OptiWay is a guide for an elimination trial, not a diagnosis. We would rather be upfront about what IgG testing can and cannot tell you.
- It is not an allergy test. Classic allergy and anaphylaxis are driven by IgE, a different test. If you suspect a true allergy, see a doctor.
- It does not diagnose coeliac disease, food allergy or any medical condition on its own.
- Scientific opinion on IgG food sensitivity testing is divided. A raised result reflects exposure and sensitivity, not proof that a food is harmful.
- It works best as a starting point for a structured elimination trial, ideally with a practitioner, rather than a final answer.
