COVID-19 Feb 2023 Sympoms: South Africa

COVID has been on a break for a while, but it looks like the latest season is out. We’re seeing a sudden increase in testing at our centres. Whilst, BQ.1 (the kraken) has shot up in the number of cases, many of the people in the following cases likely had a previous sub-variant.

What Did The Positive Cases Look Like?

On average, positive cases were between 30 and 50 years old.

61% were women and 39% were men.

83% had not received their COVID-19 vaccine.

77.3% said they were feeling COVID symptoms.
