Import your past lab reports into your Functional Health Report
Combine your previous test results with new ones for a fuller picture of your health over time. See trends, spot patterns and take proactive steps. No doctor's referral needed.
What is a past lab report?
Any previous lab results you've had done elsewhere: earlier blood tests, hormone panels, thyroid markers, vitamin levels or other health checks. These reports capture your health at specific points in time.
Your Functional Health Report is produced with software from Optimal DX, a functional health analysis platform that turns your lab values into clear, easy-to-read reports. Adding your past results lets our experts show how your markers have shifted over months or years, not just where they sit today.

How to import your past reports
Three simple steps. Email a member of our team and we'll handle the rest.
Email your reports
Send your previous lab reports to your nearest functional health expert. PDFs, scans or photos are all fine.
We import your data
Our team enters your historical results into the reporting system and links them to your file.
See your trends
Receive a report showing how your markers have changed over time and what to watch.
Why import your past reports?
One-off blood tests show a snapshot. Imported history shows the story.
Track markers over time
See whether your iron, hormones, thyroid or vitamin levels are improving, stable or trending in the wrong direction.
Spot patterns early
Subtle shifts that look fine in isolation often show up clearly when compared against your own historical baseline.
Personal insights
Suggestions grounded in your own history, not just general reference ranges that ignore where you started.
Take proactive steps
Long-term data lets you and your healthcare practitioner make informed choices, instead of reacting to a single result.

Common questions
Everything you need to know before sending us your past reports.
What kinds of past reports can I import?
Any lab results that measure your health markers: blood tests, hormone panels, thyroid panels, vitamin and mineral tests, lipid profiles, full blood counts and more. As long as the report includes the test name, value and reference range, we can import it.
How far back can my reports go?
There's no formal cut-off. Reports from the last 2 to 5 years tend to give the most useful trend data, but older results can still add valuable context if you have them.
Do I need to have new tests done at Epicentre?
No. You can add past lab reports from other providers to your Functional Health Report for R350 per report. Booking new Epicentre tests includes 3 free imports of other-lab reports, and your past Epicentre results are always imported free.
Are my past Epicentre results included?
Yes, free and with no limit on how many. Ask the expert you book with and they'll add your past Epicentre results to your file. The R350 per-report fee only applies to reports from other labs.
Are my records kept confidential?
Yes. Your results are handled in line with POPIA and stored securely in the Optimal DX system, which is hosted in the United States. At Epicentre, only the expert you book with works with your file.
How long does the import take?
Most imports are completed within 2 to 5 working days of receiving your reports. Larger sets or unusual formats may take a little longer, and your expert will confirm timing when your reports arrive.
What format should I send my reports in?
PDFs are ideal. Clear scans or sharp phone photos of printed reports also work, as long as the test names, values and reference ranges are legible.
Pair your import with a new test
The fullest trend picture comes from layering past results on top of a fresh, comprehensive panel.
