Six markers that can be affected in the weeks and months after a COVID infection, grouped so you and your doctor can make sense of how you feel. All from one blood draw.
Inflammation
ESR, CRP. Two markers that rise when there is ongoing inflammation in the body.
Blood count
Full Blood Count (FBC). A full blood count for your overall health, including anaemia that can cause fatigue.
Clotting marker
D-Dimer. A marker linked to clotting, which can be raised after a COVID infection.
Energy nutrients
Vitamin D, Vitamin B12. Two common shortfalls behind tiredness, low mood and poor concentration.
Your results come with an ODx report
With this panel you also receive an ODx Functional Health Report, which reads your results against optimal ranges, not just disease ranges, so you can spot imbalances early and track them over time.
See ODx reports and an example →Three steps, no GP needed
Book a slot or walk in
Reserve a time at your branch, or walk straight in. No doctor's referral, and no fasting needed.
Quick blood draw
A nurse takes a small blood sample, just a few minutes.
Results in 2 to 5 days
A colour-coded report by marker, with a free certificate you can share with your doctor.
Who is this for?
Most useful if you are still not feeling yourself weeks or months after a COVID infection and want a clearer picture.
Lingering fatigue
You feel tired or drained well after the infection has passed.
Breathlessness
You get short of breath more easily than before.
Brain fog
Foggy thinking or trouble concentrating since COVID.
Aches and low mood
Ongoing aches, poor sleep or a flatter mood.
A baseline for your doctor
You want screening bloods to take to a GP.
Tracking recovery
You want to follow your markers as you recover, over time.
What people say
Friendly and competent staff. Both at reception and the nurse. A much simpler process than going through doctors. Thank you ladies.
The staff at reception as well as the nurses are friendly and professional. I've also always received results timeously. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Highly highly highly recommend. The experience was painless and the practice was inviting and well kept. The report was extremely detailed and informative and I would have this as top of my list for preventive care.
Amazing experience, highly professional staff. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
I cannot recommend Juliette and her team enough, friendly and kind from the get go. Bloods were drawn with minimal discomfort and the labs came back quickly.
Excellent experience at Epicentre. The staff were professional, kind, and took time to explain everything clearly. The facility was clean, booking was easy, and I did not feel rushed.
What this does not do
This is a screen of markers that can change after COVID. It is a starting point for a conversation with your doctor, not a diagnosis of long COVID.
- Long COVID is a clinical picture; it is diagnosed by a doctor who reads these results alongside your symptoms and history.
- These markers can be normal even when symptoms are real, and a raised marker is not specific to COVID on its own.
- This panel does not cover every possible cause of your symptoms; your doctor may add other tests.
- Severe breathlessness, chest pain or a swollen, painful leg needs urgent medical care, not a screening test.
