What this does not do
A hormone panel is a snapshot read against the day it was taken. It informs a conversation with your doctor; it does not diagnose a condition on its own.
- Several hormones change across the menstrual cycle, so timing affects the result; ask us when to test.
- This panel does not include AMH or progesterone. For ovarian reserve choose the Female Hormone + Fertility; progesterone can be added on day 21.
- Results are a screen, not a diagnosis; abnormal values need follow-up with a clinician.
- Hormonal contraception and some medicines affect these markers; mention them when you discuss results.
- If you have severe symptoms, see a doctor rather than waiting for a routine panel.
