At Le Domaine Health Centre, we are proud to have a team of highly skilled professionals who provide quality medical services to the community. Our team consists of:

✔ Physiotherapists Juli-Ann, Tara, and Kathryn, who offer personalized treatment for various conditions, such as back and neck pain, orthopaedic issues, respiratory problems, and more.

✔ General practitioners Dr. Shaun Martin and Dr. Simone Zoepke, who have expertise in areas such as care of the elderly, addiction medicine, urgent care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and orthopaedic surgery.

✔ Queen, a member of the Epicentre Walk-In Lab team and a passionate and experienced nurse. Queen loves to help residents with a wide range of blood lab work, and blood pressure monitoring in a gentle and compassionate manner.

✔ Lauren Bray, the practice manageress who oversees the smooth running of the centre and ensures that our patients receive the best service possible.

✔ Rosanne Soobramoney, the wound care specialist who provides expert care for patients with acute or chronic wounds.

Lauren Bray (Practice Manageress) Lauren is the figure head of Le Domaine Health. Her lovely face will be the first you'll see on entering our practice and the last on leaving. She will not only make sure you are comfortable and happy in our care, but is also the important link between you and the rest of our medical team.
uli-Ann, Tara and Kathryn (Physiotherapy) Riley Physiotherapists is a trusted name in Physiotherapy in the upper Highway area and have been providing a caring and professional physiotherapy service at Le Domaine since 2004. They make physiotherapy accessible and provide the personal touch. Riley Physiotherapists are a small team that can offer this personalised treatment, but are large enough to offer an accessible and comprehensive physiotherapy service, with expertise, additional training and experience across the various physiotherapy fields. Conditions that they can assist with include back and neck pain, headaches, jaw and facial pain, sports injuries, other injuries, muscles, joint and tendon problems, orthopaedic conditions, scar tissue management, post-operative rehabilitation, respiratory conditions, neurological conditions, amongst others.

Dr Shaun Martin (General Practitioner) Shaun Martin grew up in Westville and attended Westville Boys’ High School before training as a medical doctor at Wits University. After qualifying he worked at Baragwanath Hospital first as an Intern and then in the Anaesthetics department where he attained a Diploma in Anaesthesia. He did a further 18 months in Lincoln, UK as a Staff grade in Anaesthetics before returning to South Africa. He has been a GP in The Upper Highway since 1994 with regular return visits initially to the UK for Anaesthetic locums and more recently to Ireland as a GP locum. His particular fields of interest include care of the elderly, Addiction Medicine, Urgent care and Procedural Sedation. He is a director at Hillcrest Surgical Unit and Careline Crisis and Halfway House, and a GP at Medicross Hillcrest and Le Domaine Health.
Dr Tamzyn Green (General Practitioner) Tamzyn is a general practitioner who grew up in Pietermaritzburg and matriculated in 1996 from Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School with 7 distinctions. She went to study medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand where she qualified in 2002. She has always loved KwaZulu-Natal and was fortunate enough to be placed at the Greys/Edendale/Northdale Complex in PMB for her Internship, and at Addington hospital for my Community Service. She was delighted to spend her whole community service year in Pediatrics, with future plans to become a pediatrician. During this year, she studied for and completed her Diploma in Pediatrics. The following year, she moved to Worcester and worked in a Pediatric HIV and TB clinic at Eben Donges Hospital. Life, however, took her in a completely different direction and she started working as a GP in Johannesburg, then Dullstroom, and eventually back in her happy place in KwaZulu-Natal, where she plans to stay indefinitely. Tamzyn now works at Hillcrest Surgical Unit as a GP, as well as doing some after hour work and sedations for Gastroscopies and Colonoscopies there. She also does some work at a couple of retirement villages in the Hillcrest area. "I love all my patients, but particularly enjoy working with pediatrics, the elderly, psychiatry, and addiction. I am so excited to embrace this new venture at Le Domaine Health."
Mandy Pillay (Audiologist & Speech Therapist) Mandy is an Audiologist who currently works in the upper highway area, delivering comprehensive Audiology services to the community. Being affiliated to the Health Professionals council and the South African Speech Language and Hearing Association, drives her to provide professional hearing care and encourages continuing education. She believes in patient centered care focusing on the delivery of accurate diagnostics and dispensing premium quality hearing devices. She works very closely in collaboration with her colleagues in the greater medical fraternity to ensure patients are receiving the best quality of care. Mandy graduated as an Audiologist and Speech Therapist from University of KwaZulu Natal in 1992 and later obtained a post graduate certificate on Assessment and Management of Vertigo from University of Cape Town. She started her first practice at Life’s Crompton hospital in 1997, expanded to Le Domaine in 2007, and then to Busamed’s Hillcrest Private Hospital in 2012. Her practice at Le Domaine is a fully diagnostic facility, including a soundproof booth and audiometer. She works with a vast population group, from neonates to the elderly; and is able to conduct diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid trials and fittings, tinnitus management, and assessments of vertigo and dizziness. She is an authorized dispenser of hearing aids and assistive devices for all ages, and choses to partner with premium international hearing aid brands to ensure her patients receive the best quality hearing and product support. Dr Simone Zoepke (General Practitioner) Simone is a born bred “Kloofie”. She attended school at the local public Kloof schools, starting at Kloof Pre-primary to her matriculation from Kloof High School in 2010. She then decided to travel and work for a year before completing her studies in medicine at the University of Pretoria in 2012. She completed her internship at the Pietermaritzburg Hospital Complex, rotating through Edendale, Northdale and Greys Hospital. She then made the trek to the Free State where she did her Community Service year at Phekolong District Hospital in Bethlehem. She then made the much-anticipated journey back home to Kloof, where she practiced as a GP in women’s health for two years before moving to the Hillcrest Surgical Unit and the Hillcrest Mediclinic. She has developed and nurtured a keen interest in Plastics and Reconstructive surgery, Emergency Care and Orthopaedic surgery. This passion was ignited when she was taught about the anatomy and unfathomable complexities of the hand. During her undergraduate studies, Simone was awarded a scholarship to Tromso in Norway where she learnt under the wing of the ambitious and talented Dr Louis de Weerd in the Plastic Surgery department. She then went on to write a medical paper with him on the use of muscle flaps in reconstruction. This was in addition to the paper she wrote with Dr Nikki Allorto in the field of Burn Surgery. She intends to start her masters in medicine in 2024 with a focus on research. She has always had a passion for writing and teaching and finds pleasure in imparting her knowledge and experience onto others. She now hopes to share her knowledge with the Kloof community through Public Health and be a filter for the technical and sometimes overwhelming amounts of information available to those looking for answers about their bodies and health. “I am so delighted to have the opportunity to serve and treat those from my own community. Being home is a dream come true and I will do everything in my power to guide, educate, care for and, when I can, heal those in need, taking into account the incredible effect that the mind and our social circumstances have on the body.”
