Even if you feel healthy, it’s an important to get these tests done at least once a year. This package has been designed by experts to get you the best tests to take care of your health.

Please note that our packages are just a guide, you can pick any of these tests, add extra tests or take out any test. Choose what suits your needs!

Our Men’s Annual Wellness Package Explained

Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA – general cancer markers)

This test measures the amount of CEA in the blood, and sometimes in other body fluids. CEA is a type of tumor marker. Tumor markers are substances made by cancer cells or by normal cells in response to cancer in the body.

A high level of CEA can be a sign of certain types of cancers. These include cancers of the colon and rectum, prostate, ovary, lung, thyroid, or liver. High CEA levels may also be a sign of some noncancerous conditions, such as cirrhosis, noncancerous breast disease, and emphysema.

Creatine Kinase MB (CKMB – Cardio Vascular Disease)

CK–MB is one of three forms (or isoenzymes) of the enzyme creatine kinase (CK). CK–MB is found mostly in heart muscle. It rises when there is any damage to heart muscle cells.

Vitamin B12

This test checks the amount of vitamin B-12 in the blood or urine to gauge the body’s overall vitamin B-12 stores. The Vitamin B12 test helps to diagnose or rule out if you may have vitamin B12–deficiency anaemia. Also known as cobalamin deficiency, this is a condition that develops when your body can’t make enough healthy red blood cells because it doesn’t have enough vitamin B12. Your body needs

Prostate-Specific Antigen Test

The PSA test is a blood test used mainly to screen for prostate cancer. The test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood.

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)

This is usually the first test your provider will do to check for thyroid hormone imbalance. Most of the time, thyroid hormone deficiency (hypothyroidism) is associated with an elevated TSH level, while thyroid hormone excess (hyperthyroidism) is associated with a low TSH level. The thyroid makes hormones that regulate the way the body uses energy. It also plays an important role in regulating a person’s weight, body temperature, muscle strength, and even their mood.

Recommended Additional Tests

Fasting Glucose Test

A fasting blood sugar test is used to measure sugar in your blood. This test is a simple, safe and common way to diagnose prediabetes, diabetes or gestational diabetes. Our nurse will just need to prick your finger or use a needle to draw blood from a vein in your arm. To prepare for this test, don’t eat and only drink water for 8 to 12 hours before the test.

R72

Full Blood Count (FBC)

Blood test used to evaluate your overall health and detect a wide range of disorders, including anaemia, infection and leukaemia.

R187

Lipogram (Cholesterol, HDL, TRIG & LDL)

R302

This test (panel) measures the level of the different lipids and lipid-like substances in the blood. Cholesterol and triglycerides are carried in the blood by lipoprotein particles. These particles are also measured and classified according to density. The lipogram is used to help predict the risk of developing cardiovascular disease and determine treatment. The lipogram is used to monitor the effectiveness of and or response to therapy.

Cholesterol Test

High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL)

Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL)

Liver Function Test

Liver function tests are blood tests used to help diagnose and monitor liver disease or damage. The tests measure the levels of certain enzymes and proteins in your blood.

R474

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Test

A thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) test is a common blood test used to measure how well the thyroid gland is working.

R216

Urea & Electrolytes and Creatinine (U & E and Creatinine)

A U and E is usually performed to confirm normal kidney function or to exclude a serious imbalance of biochemical salts in the bloodstream. A diverse number of conditions may be detected on the U and E test, as each parameter tested may be high or low.

R345

Uric Acid (UA) Blood Test

A uric acid blood test, also known as a serum uric acid measurement, determines how much uric acid is present in your blood. The test can help determine how well your body produces and removes uric acid, which is a normal waste product in your blood. But in high amounts, uric acid can cause a number of issues in your body like gout.

R345

Vitamin D Test (25-OH)

A vitamin D blood test measures the level of vitamin D in your blood. Abnormal levels of vitamin D can indicate bone disorders, nutrition.
