What's tested

What does the panel measure?

A full liver function panel together with amylase for the pancreas, grouped so you can see how these organs are doing. All from one blood draw.

Liver and pancreas together: the liver function panel covers a full set of enzymes and proteins that reflect liver and gallbladder health, while amylase is a marker of the pancreas. Together they give a focused read on this part of your digestive system.

Liver and gallbladder

Liver Function Tests (LFT). A full set of liver enzymes and proteins, including Albumin, ALP, ALT, AST, Bilirubin, GGT, LDH and Total Protein.

Pancreas

Amylase. An enzyme made by the pancreas, used to check how the pancreas is doing.

What you get back

Your results come with an ODx report

With this panel you also receive an ODx Functional Health Report, which reads your results against optimal ranges, not just disease ranges, so you can spot imbalances early and track them over time.

The staff at reception as well as the nurses are friendly and professional. I've also always received results timeously. I would give 10 stars if I could.

What this does not do

This is a focused screen of two organ systems. It is a starting point for a conversation with your doctor, not a diagnosis on its own.

  • It does not diagnose any condition on its own; unusual results are followed up with your doctor.
  • It does not replace a broader check; your doctor may add other tests based on your history.
  • Severe or sudden upper-tummy pain, with vomiting or fever, needs urgent medical care, not a screening test.
  • Results are meant to inform a discussion with a registered practitioner.
