Nine targets by PCR: the common sexually transmitted infections plus a few related organisms, all from a self-collected swab and urine sample.
Common STIs
Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Mycoplasma genitalium, HSV-1, HSV-2. The sexually transmitted infections most worth ruling in or out, including chlamydia, gonorrhoea, trichomonas and both herpes types.
Related organisms
Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, E. coli O18. Mycoplasma and ureaplasma, plus E. coli, which can be involved in some symptoms.

This screen detects several organisms. Results are read alongside your symptoms, and they are a starting point for a conversation with your doctor.
