What's tested

What does the screen cover?

The four most common sexually transmitted infections, by PCR, from a self-collected swab and urine sample. No blood draw needed.

The core four: this screen covers the most common STIs people test for. It is the simple, affordable starting point; if you want a wider check, the Medium and Large screens add more.

The four core STIs

Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Herpes (Type 2), Trichomoniasis. The four most common STIs to screen for, caused by Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, HSV-2 and Trichomonas vaginalis.

Want more detail? Step up to the Medium Sexual Health Package: it covers 9 targets, adding M. genitalium, ureaplasma and both herpes types. See the Medium screen →

The staff at reception as well as the nurses are friendly and professional. I've also always received results timeously. I would give 10 stars if I could.

What this does not do

This screen covers the four most common STIs. Results are read alongside your symptoms, and they are a starting point for a conversation with your doctor.

  • It covers four infections; if you want a wider screen, the Medium or Large packages add more.
  • Results are best discussed with a clinician who can see the whole picture.
  • If you have severe pain, fever or feel very unwell, seek medical care now rather than waiting for results.
  • Results are meant to inform a discussion with a registered practitioner.
